The Grounds

The grounds of Coeur de Combray have been landscaped over the last few years and now offer different areas where guests can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our countryside setting. The old fromagerie’s water wheel is fascinating and still works - and the River Laizon runs through the grounds of the property.

Our lake is stocked with tench, carp and trout and fishing permits are included for guests. There is also a boat available for rowing around the lake, which is hugely popular with both adults and children alike. The south-facing swimming pool is enclosed and has a large terrace with sunloungers and a tropical garden.
